  1. I have done regular repel a couple of times and jumpiming repel. It is going well for me and everything is working out but im still scared out of my mind each time going down and i still dont like it at all. From what i have learned though and taken from it is good learning skills and an experience. It helps trust more to i guess.

  2. Rappelling has been going fine for me as well as my group. I have done the regular rappel and the jumping rappel. I have done the jumping rappel twice. I just need to try going down upside down.

  4. I like repelling and I've just done the normal rappelling and jumping because I wasn't there on the other days but I really wanna go down while doing the other rappelling methods.

  6. I feel awesome about rappelling. I have gone down all four ways, understand how to set up the rappel perfectly, and have done every job as a belay-er. If I were to be tested, I feel I would score a 100%, and I have a lot of fun rappelling.

  7. I am really enjoying and having fun with rapelling. I have done it before, and I look forward to it each day! I fully understand the set-up and the jobs each person in the group does. I have done the regular rappel, jumping, and upside down. I can't wait to try the forward one.

  9. Rappelling has been so much fun! I am becoming more and more confident in my ability to set up the system. Also, I think the group I am in ha done a great job. We have become really efficient and have a lot of fun together. I've rappelled regular, jumping, and upside down, and I'm hoping that next time we rappel I will get to go down the wall forwards.

  10. Despite my first day scare, rappelling has been going great for me. I have done regular, jumping, and upside down. It has been a lot of fun. I want to try forward, but that makes me more nervous than the other ones. As far as the set up, I get better at it each day and I have done every job, but I don't feel entirely confident for testing because I think I need to work on figuring out certain aspects like the webbing more.

  12. Rappelling is pretty fun. I'm not a huge fan of just standing over a ledge and leaning back, but once I get going it's not bad. I've done the normal, jumping, and upside down methods. I don't think I want to try the forward though! And I'm not entirely confident in how to do the webbing either. - Maria Kuzma

  13. I get a major rush from rappelling, but I've also done rappelling before this class and have always enjoyed it, and I guess I just love doing things like this. I have done regular rappelling, jumping and forward rappelling

  16. I know that the first time was so hard for me, so thank you so much to the group that was so understanding, and let me freak out for 10 minutes before finally going down. Surprisingly, after the first time, it wasn't so bad, and after I saw how prepared everyone was to catch me I really started to trust them more. All in all, this has been a big leap for me in terms of trusting others and myself, and I am vary happy to have had this experience

  17. I have done the regular rappelling and the jumping. So far it has been going really well for my group and I. I think the scariest time was letting to of the railing for the first time. But othe than that it has been a really fun and different experience for me.

  18. I thought rapelling was scary at first but then later the second time I did it it wasn't as scary. I think jumping is kind of hard to do but I can do it now. Also going upside down is a lot of fun and easier than I thought to get back up.

  20. I think rappelling is very neat, I have never tried anything like it before so it's very different, I do enjoy it though and I have tried regular and jumping, I am not sure if I want to try the others but I'll probably try going upside down a shot. I think for the most part I understand the set up too and it's overall going pretty good!

  21. Rappelling is a bit difficult for me if I don't have gloves. My hands sweat like crazy, and on my first time going I slipped so much. Other than that it went pretty well, I've gone normally, and jumping so far.

  22. I have done regular, jumping, upside down, and I am looking forward to doing forward. I think rappelling is incredibly fun. At first, I was terrified beyond belief. But with the help and support my group gave me, I got over my fear and now I love rappelling. More people in my group overcame their fear too and I am very proud of everybody.

  23. I have done regular, jumping and upside-down repelling. So far, it's gone pretty well. I expected to be scared everytime I went but I actually enjoy it. The only part that made me nervous was letting go of the railing before repelling. Although I am pretty comfortable with repelling, I don't think I will be able to go down forward. Altogether, it was a cool experience and I'm glad I got to do it.

  25. Rappelling is going really great! I have done jumping, regular, upside down then straighten out, and upside down all the way down. The only really scary part was letting go of the railing. It freaked me out every time, but once that was over it all good. I am very happy i did it. Also i need to thank my group, Group F, for giving me the courage and being supportive and awesome the entire time.

  26. i <3 repelling. it's really fun! I've done regular, jumping, and upside down all the way down. It definitely freaks me out a little every time i let of of the bar, but it's more of an exciting freak out than a scary one. I love my group F because we don't really talk to each other outside of school, but we all get along really well when we repel and we always watch out for each others' safety.
