Give us your thoughts on how we did as a class. I would like you to consider our full value contract (FVC) as you respond.

I think we did a really good job as a class. We pretty much have everything on the list checked off. I was pleasantly suprised at how well we did working together, it was fun.

As a whole we did really well. Everything went smoothly and we had a system that worked great. The only thing is that only a few people did the "work." But we really could not have incorporated everyone to do something.

I think we worked together on this activity better than we have on any other we have done before. We definitely fulfilled our FVC during this activity. We trusted each, communicated with each other, worked together to come up with solutions and complete the task, we respected each other, and had a positive attitude.

I am impressed with how much we have progressed over 10 weeks. I think we are all putting effort and working as one large team. I look forward to this class and I am glad I picked it. Seeing everybody with a positive attitude and contributing to the class makes me want to do so.

We as a class pretty much have something accomplished from each category and even though only a few people did most of the hard work we all puts our minds into it. It was a pretty fun activity and it was a very trusting activity but it was great for the class to do more trust skills just makes us stronger as a whole and team! I was very amazed at how quickly we got it done once we figured out a concept and it worked well and that was a team effort!

I think we nailed this one.
ReplyDeleteTrust: I certainly was able to trust others to lift me, and I was able to trust myself as a lifter. No one was dropped.
Communication: There was plenty of talking going on, from idea sharing to encouragement for those who were nervous. Everyone was very patient.
Team work: The lifting team worked like a well oiled machine, once we figured out what we we doing. There was also a lesson here about knowing when to step down and be a follower, because not everyone could be a lifter.
Respect: I heard no mean words, and the entire class was supportive of those who were more nervous.
Positive Attitude: Everyone participated as much as they could. Again the whole calss was supportive of others.
I have to say we as a class did really well for only having spent two days on this activity. We were able to complete it and do it successfully without anyone getting hurt. It was all about teamwork and trust. Although like some people said we only had six people doing the work part of lifting people over, we still did a really good job.

I was pretty shocked by how well our class really did on this activity. I think it was the best we've done by far. No matter how many times we had to go back and restart, we all kept a positive attitude and tried again and again. It also ehanced our trust with one another, because i wouldnt just let anyone toss me over a rope like that. Even though it was mainly 5 people doing the lifting, we all took part and contributed to finishing the activity.

I think our class did a great job with the electric fence activity and it really showed how much we've progressed as a class. We had great teamwork and cooperation which made it easy to finish in only two days. There wasn't ever really any disagreement and everyone stayed very positive throughout the whole process. We did a good job of talking out a system in the beginning and then using that system to achieve getting everyone over. Also, you could tell that each person really allowed themselves to trust their classmates. This was a big step for us in terms of trust. You had to depend on others to keep you safe and lift you, and everyone seemed to be able to easily trust those people. Our class as a whole did great, and I'm proud of us.

we have come far in this class. in the beginning of the year we were hesitant to all go on the same tarp, or to go across the room by ourselves making a funny noice but now we are trusting eachother so much, we let eachother lift everyone over a rope and i dont think we would have had the patience, trust, or anything to do this in the beginning of the year. we are not complaining as much now either and more of us are talking and getting our opinions out there which is also a good thing. i believe if we keep respecting eachother and keep using teamwork then our class will have no problem doing harder things later in the year like repeling or anything else.

I thunk we displayed a lot of the traits of teamwork and respect in this activity. Such as being very patient whenever we all had to go back, there was lots of cooperation, and everyone supported each other. Along with teamwork, we worked together, wrinkled out the details together, and offered plenty of help to each other while the activity went on. Overall I think this activity brought out the best of the True Value Contract in our group.

We did such a great job as a class! I think we covered all aspects of the FVC. We certainly had trust down, because people had to trust that we were keeping them safe as they went over the rope. We helped each other and really worked as a team. For communication, we came up with an awesome idea that really worked, and everyone went along with it. Everyone was very patient, even when we had to start over. There was no blame on anyone who was the one that touched the rope. For teamwork, we certainly cooperated and worked together, or no one would have gotten over- you couldn't do it alone. For respect, we encouraged and supported each other as they went over, and if the lifters needed a break, others transitioned smoothly into that position. And as for positive attitude, everyone participated willingly, and we were able to focus and not get impatient or off-task. I'm excited to see how far we've come and can't wait to see what else we can accomplish!

I think that we displayed a lot of the traits of our full value contract in this activity, like teamwork and respect. With teamwork we all cooperated and wrinkled out the problems of our method together, which required listing to each other. As with respect we all showed patience, and encouraged each other when a person was hesitant to go over, and soothed their fears. All in all, I think that this activity showcased the best of our group in regard to our full value contract.

I think we did a great job at following the guidelines of our full value contract. In particular, trust was something that I saw throughout the entire activity. We had to trust eachother that we would be able to boost eachother over the rope an also trust that if we needed additional assistance we would be there for eachother. The only thing that we might need to work on is the inclusion part of teamwork, because only a few people were lifting while everyone else stood around. Overall, we did a great job and the activity was really fun.

I think we did awesome with this activity. It was probably the most challenging and yet we pretty much followed everything under each category. No one got frustrated and everyone listened to other people's ideas and contributed their own. Everyone did a great job.

I think we did an awesome job as a class. As for the FVC, I think we did an awesome job as well by keeping to what we wrote down. I think we communicated really well and we were out of our comfort zone but no one was really complaining about it or how they didn't like our idea for getting people over.
ReplyDeletebailey kondrat
I think we did very well. We all worked together and got everyone across. I felt safe during this. We learned new skills and learned to trust each other better then ever before.
ReplyDeleteDiane Kohlin
I was very happy with our results. We trusted each other but letting them toss us over the "fence" and hoping someone would help us down on the other side. We worked as a team to get everyone over. We were very patient and supportive of the people lifting and the people being lifted. think this was our best activity yet. I am very proud of our class and i am glad to be a part of this. :)
ReplyDeleteRachel Zimmerman
I have to admit that we did very well :-) it made me very happy and we definitely could check everything off our value contract. Still it did scare the crap outta me because i wasn't there on the day when we did the activities so i wasn't sure how it worked but it turned out well :-)
ReplyDeleteThis activity made me super proud of our class :]I think we definitely upheld our FVC, especially in developing our trust as everyone above me mentioned. Although in the beginning of the activity the group seems disorganized, I think we were still able to effectively communicate our ideas. Everyone respected one another and tried to understanding when some people were more scared than others. I think the positive attitude of the class greatly improved. During the tossing the ball activity, everyone got frustrated more quickly, but when we messed up on this activity people didn't seem too annoyed. As far as teamwork, even though not everyone lifted, everyone had a role to play and I don't think teamwork always means that everyone has to have an equal job all of the time because if everyone was trying to do it the process would be more hectic and less efficient. I think we did work well together on accomplishing our goal, which is teamwork.

Our class did very well. We definitely did everthing on our value contract. Our class worked together well and it seemed like everyone felt safe being tossed over the rope. This has been our best activity so far and I'm very proud of our class

I think we did very well with our electric fence activity, no one got mad when people messed up, we didn't judge each other, we defenetly trusted each other or else we could have not been lifted over the fence and we all used respect, if more people could have Hal Ed lift over that would have been better but it's kind of hard to get everyone to do that but overall I think as a class this was one of our best activities.
ReplyDeleteRandi Sorensen
I think they did very well and the best part was when like one said anything to me and they did their best and its not only 3 o 4 people helping over its supposed to be the hole class but they did their best by giving alot of ideas and putting them together.
ReplyDeleteDaniel Martinez
i think the class did very well but the best part was that we were trusting others not to judge aother people and we were trdusting them to not let you fall evenn though it was supposed to be the whole class people still steped in and gave others more ideas on what to do.
